Touring Historic Downtown Guadalajara

This is Guadalajara Cathedral at Plaza de La Liberacion in Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico.  It is also known as the Plaza de las Dos Copas.  The Cathedral is also called the Cathedral of the Assumption of our Lady, in Spanish: Catedral de Guadalajara or Catedral de la Asuncion de Maria Santisima.






Below is a general video of the Government Palace which is the seat of government in downtown Centro. I mistakenly called it the cathedral in the video!  Ooops! You will notice the famous mural of Hidalgo which was painted on the ceiling of this great edifice by Jose Clemente.  It is absolutely stunning!
